    Hawkwood is an established community in Northwest Calgary, covering about 3.2 km² in City Ward 2, with NW addresses. In the 2021 Census it had 9,115 residents in 3,305 occupied homes: 91% detached houses, 6% apartments and 3% row houses. About 92% of homes were built between 1981 and 2000, and the local community association is the Hawkwood Community Association.
