Thorncliffe is an established community in North Calgary, covering about 3.3 km² in City Ward 4, with NW and NE addresses. In the 2021 Census it had 8,695 residents in 3,615 occupied homes: 51% detached houses, 22% row houses, 18% apartments and 9% semi-detached. About 91% of homes were built in or before 1980, and the local community association is the Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association.
