Living in SE Calgary: Lifestyle & Amenities
Parks & outdoors
Fish Creek Provincial Park, one of Canada's largest urban parks with more than 100 km of trails, borders Douglasdale/Glen, McKenzie Lake and Cranston along with the Bow River. Auburn Bay has its own lake, and McKenzie Lake is built around a private lake and island. Some communities have residents' associations with private facilities and annual fees, such as Cranston's Century Hall and the New Brighton Club, so confirm the fees on any listing.
Schools
Public schools are run by the Calgary Board of Education (CBE) and Catholic schools by the Calgary Catholic School District (CCSD), and two francophone boards also serve the city. Designated schools depend on the exact address and newer communities are still adding schools, so check the CBE School Finder or CCSD before you buy.

Deerfoot Trail and Stoney Trail meet in this zone. Glenmore Trail runs along Ogden's south edge, and 52 Street SE, 130 Avenue SE and Seton Boulevard are the other main links.
